The HWZ1 (series intelligent) residual current protection circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is researched by our company, which not only has all the functions required by China's fourth generation low-voltage electrical products, but also has the ability to adjust the set overload protection value according to transformer capacity or actual load requirements, and has the function of automatically tracking residual current. Remote control, remote adjustment, telemetry, and remote signaling can also be achieved through the RS-485 communication interface. And a new generation of intelligent residual current protection circuit breakers developed to adapt to the actual environment of safe electricity use in urban and rural areas of China.
The product complies with standards such as GB14048.2-2008, GB6829, and Q/GDW614-2011.
2、 Main functions and features
1. Scope of use
The product is mainly suitable for low-voltage power grids with three-phase four wire neutral point directly grounded. Rated voltage up to 660V. Rated current up to 630A. Protect the line (or distribution station area) and electrical equipment (such as power transformers, motors, etc.) from grounding faults, overcurrent, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase failure, and power supply zero measurement.
2. Main functions
2.1 Remaining current
a. When there is residual current in the output circuit of the circuit breaker and it reaches the set gear. Open the circuit within the set time. Automatically reclose once within 20~60 seconds, and if there is residual current action again within 5 seconds of closing, the circuit will open and lock automatically. After troubleshooting, manual or button closing is required.
b. It can automatically track the residual current during alternating changes in sunny and rainy days, and adjust the residual current action value level up or down. When there is a dangerous residual current to the ground in the line and electrical equipment, the intelligent controller can operate at the detected lower action value level. Intelligent automatic setting of residual current value has been achieved, and the current execution gear value displayed can be queried at any time. Beneficial for the operation rate and reliability of large residual current protection during the rainy season, it solves the problem of difficult setting of protection devices by users and managers, and reduces the problem of frequent tripping.
c. In places where residual current action is not allowed, a residual current alarm mode can be set. At this time, the display screen will only show the residual current value, and the leakage indicator light will flash, but the residual current action will not be executed to open the circuit.
2.2 Overvoltage and undervoltage
When the voltage of any phase at the input terminal of the circuit breaker exceeds or falls below the set voltage level, overvoltage protection will open within 0.5 seconds, and undervoltage protection will open within 5 seconds; Under voltage will open the circuit protection within 5 seconds. After the input voltage is restored, the circuit breaker automatically closes.
2.3 Overcurrent and Short Circuit
a. Implement load overcurrent tripping protection with shell level current; The overload protection action current value below the current level of the circuit breaker enclosure can also be set to perform load overcurrent tripping protection. No longer execute automatic disconnection instructions.
b. Implement load short-circuit current tripping protection with shell level current; It is also possible to set the fast breaking current values for different short-circuit currents of the circuit breaker to perform short-circuit current opening protection, and no longer execute automatic closing commands.
2.4 Phase and Zero Breaks
a. When any phase of the input terminal of the circuit breaker is below 50V, it can be opened for protection within 5 seconds without automatic reclosing.
b. After the zero line at the input end of the circuit breaker is disconnected, the three-phase voltage imbalance reaches a certain value and then opens for protection. After recovery, it automatically closes.
2.5 Remote Control
a. It can be output to the required situation through a passive set of conversion contacts on the circuit breaker, achieving remote monitoring of the opening and closing status and control of the opening and closing.
b. Cooperate with prepaid energy meters to achieve automatic disconnection of overdue bills and automatic closing of fully paid electricity bills.
c. The circuit breaker is equipped with an RS-485 communication interface, which directly communicates with the computer to remotely adjust parameters or download fault parameters and records.
3. Main features
3.1 It has dual protection of thermal, electromagnetic, and electronic types.
3.2 Display various current opening and closing action information, and can display real-time three-phase voltage values, three-phase load current values, and residual current values.
3.3 Adopting Chinese cyclic display, it intuitively reflects the types of faults, the number of fault trips, and various parameters, without the need to check the code meanings of various parameters.
3.4 The parameters of various protection functions can be set arbitrarily according to needs.
3.5 It has selective protection functions for residual current, overload current, and short-circuit current.
3.6 The product has a small volume and compact structure, reducing the volume by about 20% compared to existing similar products in the market. It can also be installed in a small meter box.
